8 Reasons to Get Into the Season
2021 Holiday Gift Giving Guide
2021 has been quite a year. Suddenly the holidays are right around the corner. If you feel like we do — a little behind and a little “not in the mood for the holiday stress” — we invite you to take a fun little journey with us as we help you jumpstart your holiday (gift giving) season. By sharing these hot trends and gift ideas, we hope to provide a spark of inspiration to ease your task of deciding on a special gift for those special someones. So grab a cup of hot cocoa and let’s go…..
1. Santa, I’ve Been Good
Self-care is finding calm in the everyday. It also includes other things we may want to do, like getting in shape, learning a new skill, or becoming more productive. Popular self-care gifts this year include: warm blankets, sports fitness trackers, oil diffusers, hot/cold packs, personal care kits, spa gift cards and stress reliever balls.
2. I’ll Be Home for Christmas, and Working from Home in 2022
The transition of commuting and working in an office to our home offices have its challenges. We discovered the dining room chair was not doing our backs any favors. We needed office supplies and technology right at our fingertips. In researching telecommuting hot trends, we found these in the top six: Noise canceling wireless headphones, back pillows, blue tooth speakers, sound bars, padfolios and customized pen sets.
3. Eat, Drink and Jingle Like You Mean It
We get it. There is self-care and fitness but let’s be honest. We all deserve a sweet treat or savory box of goodies delivered with a note of appreciation. In taking a deep look into what consumers love the most during the holidays, it’s the excuse to indulge. A few ideas: Snack attack sugar rush — a variety of chocolates and candies, Charcuterie boards, cocktail party gift sets, etched wine bottles with your logo, champagne if you wish to give cheer for the New Year!
4. Ho, Ho, Bro
For the men in your life, your husband, your manager, your brother, your direct report…what do they want this holiday season? We have found a wide variety of items appealing to them, and you may be surprised at what they are: desk cornhole sets, compasses, BBQ sets, tool kits, craft beer DIY’s, lounge pants, dark chocolate, analog dress watches, grooming sets and pet items for their furry friends.
5. Naughty is the New Nice
Does your team deserve an award for going above and beyond during a global pandemic? Perhaps they went off the grid and recharged or motivated a group to go out on a limb and try a new idea. Our research shows that award ceremonies and corporate gatherings have been affected yet are greatly appreciated and missed. Shipping an unexpected plaque, personalized gift set, vase or desk trophy would certainly go a long way this time of year.
6. Driving in a Winter Wonderland
We have been taking road trips more this year than any other. And car gadgets are always urgently needed — once you get in the car! Think ahead for your team members and customers by giving them a thoughtful auto accessory: emergency mobile charging set, first aid kit, mini speaker for the back-seat driver, dual port USB charger – the keychain version is very popular, phone stand or air vent phone holder, individually wrapped mints for those who may get queasy, flashlight, emergency road kit, sunblock.
7. Deck the Halls
Consumers are spending more time at home. In their kitchens, by the fire, gardening and tinkering in their garages. Surprise your team members or customers with something out of the blue: bento stacking lunch sets, sensor night lights, bottle openers, bamboo cutting boards, flashlight sets, tool sets, custom refrigerator magnets, fireside multi-game sets, sets of knives.
8. I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas
Cooler temps are on the horizon, even in the south. Who wouldn’t love a new sweatshirt, beanie blanket, jacket or lounge pants this year? We deserve more comfort and warmth as we say goodbye to 2021. And don’t forget about your feet: slippers, socks, shoe bags and shoe cleaning kits.
We hope you have found this helpful. If there is anything we can help you with, we’re here to serve you. If you’d like to take a look at a few items we’ve selected in each of the categories above, check out our Bagley Shop: 2021 Holiday Gift Giving Guide.
